The NKBA offers a specialty badge program for kitchen and bath industry professionals to showcase their expertise in a variety of areas including remodeling, cabinetry, sales and marketing, lighting, sustainability, and more. These badges serve as professional credentials, and members can choose to earn as many badges as they want to.

Professionals may earn NKBA badges by studying course content that provides the most recent information in a constantly changing industry and completing a final exam. These courses are available as online self-paced programs that can be taken at any time. Earned badges remain valid for two years and can be revalidated by retaking the exam within two years of completing the course or by attending four industry-related events offered by the NKBA.
